I’m Najat Ould Hadj, a Senior Midwife with years of hands-on healthcare experience across the UAE and Europe. NativaCare was born from something I witnessed again and again: women going through pregnancy and early motherhood without the support they truly need.
Why I Started NativaCare
Today, 14%Â of women experience tokophobia, the fear of childbirth, and cesarean section rates have climbed to 40% over the last decade, a trend that raises real questions about maternal and infant health outcomes. After birth, many women feel unsupported in hospital and continue to and struggle once home, especially without family or friends nearby. That transition from hospital to home is one of the most vulnerable points in a woman’s journey. NativaCare is bridging this gap.
Maternal Mental Health Matters
Prenatal depression affects 20% of women in the UAE, rising to 35%Â postnatally. Research shows the right midwifery-led support brings these numbers down, and that well-prepared mothers have better birth experiences and outcomes. The WHO itself describes midwives as playing a “vital” role, linking their support to improved care and better outcomes for mothers and newborns.
Our Approach
This is why I built a team of skilled, experienced midwives who are devoted to support women withwork alongside obstetricians and hospitals across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, offering antenatal, postnatal, and breastfeeding support rooted in real evidence, not guesswork. We focus on education, preparation, and genuine emotional support, caring for the physical, emotional, and psychological sides of motherhood together.
